After a stint of about two years at Bangalore Bengalooru, Kaushal has left for Mumbai. During his stay here, we managed quite a few of his portraits. They are perhaps only marginally fewer than the number of flower pictures I have taken at Lal Bagh. Of the two subjects (flowers and him), he has definitely been the easier one to click. Flowers, when faced with even slightest of breeze, sway like a metronome. Whereas Kaushal, would stay firmly put at the spot that he was directed to. He did it by the virtue of his weight (which shall not be revealed on this blog) or by sheer force of his will, would remain unknown – for the time being at least.
